When it comes to the emotional and psychological needs of cancer patients, family and friends can't do it all, a lesson we learned from experience. That's why we have worked so hard to develop the other side of the Fund's work. Ilyse Gordon. the social worker who is supported by the Kristen Ann Carr Fund to work directly with the MSKCC Department of Surgery, consulted with more than 275 patients in 1999. Ilyse also works with our programs at the Post Treatment Resource Center.
